Our history

Founded in 2020 by Arita Lindsey, Rent-A-Chef Kitchen Staffing LLC was built on more than 26 years of hands-on experience in the food service industry. From its first successful placement in March 2020 between Bela Lisboa Restaurant and the agency, Rent-A-Chef has grown into a trusted staffing partner for restaurants, catering companies, hotels, government facilities, and private clients across Florida and beyond.

We were established with a clear mission: to solve staffing challenges for food service and hospitality businesses while creating job opportunities for talented professionals—including veterans, immigrants, parents, and individuals seeking a second chance.

  A visionary leader with over two decades in food service, Arita oversees the agency’s strategy, operations, and client partnerships. She is dedicated to building lasting relationships and creating meaningful opportunities for candidates.
